Bobby Mertz

Bryan Martin

Born in Uniontown, PA, Bobby started playing drums at the age of 5. Since then, he has played throughout elementary school, Junior High, and High School marching / concert bands.

"When I got my first set of drums, I cranked up the stereo and just started playing to all kinds of songs…" I would sit there for hours and just groove to all the different styles of drummers I could hear."

Bobby enlisted in the US Marine Corps after high school. He earned a position on the world-famous Silent Drill Team. After his tour, Bobby became a PA State Trooper. During his policeman years, Bobby began to pursue the drums as a hoppy. The drumming then evolved into a priority and Bobby retired early to really engage in mastering his craft…

Bobby currently resided in Nashville, TN & currently tours with Nashville Country Recording Artist Bryan Martin signed to Average Joe's Entertainment & William Morris Entertainment.
